Terp Network is an emerging blockchain within the Cosmos Ecosystem that aims to hyper-focus efforts towards adoption and innovation of DeFi concepts & dApps, specifically for Cannabis Culture.

Project Governance
Protocol governance is the backbone of the TerpNET ecosystem.
Being one of the use cases for TERP tokens, delegators of TERP are able to take part by issuing proposals and voting on various factors which will impact the broader ecosystem.
A long term goal for Terp network is to become a credible infrastructure for creating on-chain, legally recognized entities such as contractual agreements, DID’s (Decentralized Identities) , DAO’s & SubDAO’s with access to sovereign banking and governance capabilities.

Everything from dis-incentivizing foul behavior, to uploading code for gas fee optimization, to consensus on directing resources in areas within culture are needed, can & is expected to be facilitated through governance.
CosmWasm Composability
Smart contracts are a preceding , fringe concept that is now currently being adopted by enterprises and governments around the world.
Applications built on top of decentralized networks enjoy benefits of being robust, unstoppable, censorship-resistant, and transparent. (ex. Juno ,Secret Network, & TerpNET)
Terp Network is the infrastructure to build the applications that solve a present day problem that many see in the Industry, which is unparalleled, targeted censorship. CosmWasm is the current smart contract logic that can be built, uploaded, instantiated, and is permissionless on Terp Network.

IBC Protocol
The IBC Protocol is what enables blockchain to seamlessly plug into existing or new blockchain ecosystems.
This is much different than a 3rd party bridge that some might be familiar with, and has become a proponent to what will in time make the user experience unlike the labyrinth that it currently is.
